We are learning to write an argument that will persuade the reader to agree with our point of view. We need to include:
· An introduction which states the problem and tells our opinion,
· Reasons for our opinion,
· An ending which restates our opinion.
The first one we have written is about what needs to happen so we get a fair turn using the computer at home.
Eight year olds have trouble getting to use the computer at home. In my opinion there should be a longer computer so more people can use it at once. There would be no fighting over the computer so the computer would not get broken The longer computers should be 5 metres long at the price of $2000. You should be able to set a time for doing homework and it sets off an alarm. It will be so much handier for kids. I think kids should get longer computers.

Hi, my name is Rohan.
The people included in my family are my mum Sally, my dad Leigh, my brother Finn and my sister Sabine.
I have a dog called Oonagh, 2 cats called Yoshi and Tallulah, 10 hens and a guinea pig called Squeak.
I am interested in science, the Ancient Egyptians, evolution, Pokemon and my favourite TV programmes are The Simpsons and SpongeBob Squarepants.
I like playing badminton. I like fishing and tramping. Just before the holidays my family tramped to Gridiron rock shelters and stayed the night. I liked cooking marshmallows on the fire. It was freezing cold in the night. We saw whio (blue duck).
I like gymnastics.
My favourite books are Maximum Boy, Dog Breath and the Captain Underpants series by Dav Pilkey, and the Golden compass series by Philip Pullman.
My blog is going to be a place where you see lots of lovely work by Rohan O ( ME!!).
